Lexi is the big 8!! She got baptized and got to have a big birthdy party. It was so fun..her birthday was more like a birth week starting on the 12th...well actually even sooner because she got her first present on the 9th of July! A beautiful chocolate lab puppy...hopefully this one lasts longer then a year. She was found in the woods at about 6 weeks old and had been born there. So, she has been skiddish, but is warming up to us now! Lexi trained her to sit. Her name is Hazel because she has hazel eyes...but I heard they will soon turn a yellow-orange color...darn it! She told me today that she is saving all her birthday money so she can have a lot to donate to the Humane Society. She watches Animal Planet way too much. She has such a good heart though! Always thinking of others!

congrats Lexi! I am so proud of you. We miss you tons. Morgan always asks about her cousin in Mississippi. I am glad you had a great Birthday.
Wow! Lexi is 8! Sounds like you had a perfect birthday. Carson has been asking us for a fluffy dog but he may never be as lucky as you. Have fun with Hazel!
