Big Night!

So last night was crazy..just wanted to give a shout out to Sis. Reyonlds for taking over Activity Days for me, and then the Registers for letting us borrow their van! So we had 2 major things happening at the same time, with only one vehicle. That kinda makes for a lot of stress. Luckily the times weren't too conflicting and Andrew was able to see the awards. Him and Lexi then bugged out to go to Activity Days for our church. For those of you that don't know, Activity days is for girls 8-11. They meet twice a month and learn things like sewing, woodworking, modesty,ect. So, the past 6 weeks Lexi and I have been working on a poodle skirt for the big night...A Father Daughter Sock Hop! The girls all made their own skirts, cut out their patterns then sewed their skirts for this big night. I was so bummed when I couldn't make it, since I had been planning it since January! Thankfully the lady that was teaching the father/daughters to swing dance, was willing and able to take charge. Lexi came home just beaming! She had a fabulous time and was excited to be able to dance with her dad! Of course when they came home, Andrew was trying to do a trick and about pulled her arm out of the socket! She was done for the night! It seemed like a great night for all involved...another shout out to our nursery people..The Nestors, and the Linda Perkes who helped where needed, and even canceled a meeting so she could help us out!
